MIRIAM CACCIACARRO

Miriam Cacciacarro chose the violin at the age of five, drawn to its luminous tone that soars higher and clearer than any other string instrument. From that moment, her passion for performance has shaped a career marked by artistry, versatility, and an unyielding pursuit of excellence.

Miriam has performed in an array of venues and ensembles across Ontario and beyond, including Etobicoke Youth Strings, performances alongside musicians from Aradia, two years as first violinist with the Mississauga Youth Orchestra, Handel’s Messiah with members of Tafelmusik, and an arrangement of Don Quixote with the Georgetown Bach Chorale. She has completed RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) examinations in Toronto, earning First Class Honours.

As a performer, Miriam is widely recognized for her expressive tone, refined technique, and intuitive musicality. Clients and audiences alike have been captivated by her ability to tailor each performance to suit the atmosphere and vision of the event—whether an intimate wedding ceremony, an elegant gala, or a high-profile concert. Known for her professionalism and warmth, Miriam has developed a reputation for understanding her clients’ needs and going above and beyond to create a memorable musical experience.

In her educational pursuits, Miriam earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Thomas Edison State College, graduating with an Award of Academic Excellence. Miriam began her teaching career at Westminster Classical Academy in Toronto, where she provided students with a well-rounded and engaging music education. Under her direction, the Studio Forte Chamber Ensemble achieved first place at the Niagara Performing Arts Festival and third place at the Ontario Provincials in spring 2025.

Beyond her role as an educator, Miriam is the lead violinist of Quintessence Ensemble, a professional string trio renowned for its elegant and emotive performances. The ensemble has appeared in diverse settings—from television programs and luxury events to the World Hockey Cup in Toronto’s Distillery District. Quintessence has collaborated with acclaimed artists such as Brock Hewitt and Fernando Ortega, as well as performing internationally in Europe.
