The trio creates an intimate yet dynamic sound built on musical sensitivity, rhythmic depth, and close ensemble interaction. At the center of the group is Çatakoğlu’s vocal and compositional approach, blending cultural heritage with a refined contemporary aesthetic shaped by Mediterranean colors and modern jazz expression.
A graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Çatakoğlu collaborates with fellow Berklee alumni drummer Kerem Seçkin and bassist Filippo Novi Goller. Together, the trio explores original compositions as well as thoughtfully reimagined repertoire, allowing space for improvisation while maintaining a strong narrative and emotional presence.
