Since its inception in 2002, Intercession has undergone several transformations, yet their unwavering dedication to God and music ministry has remained steadfast. As a tightly-knit and joy-filled collective, they cherish their bonds and regard one another as an extended family. Their musical journey reached a significant milestone with the release of their inaugural single, “Free,” in 2020. Their talent was further affirmed when they clinched victory in the prestigious G98.7 talent competition in 2021, propelling them into the spotlight as headliners for the esteemed Toronto Jerkfest festival in both 2021 and 2022.
The culmination of their artistic endeavors manifested in the form of their self-titled album, unveiled on December 9, 2022, now accessible on various streaming platforms. Their prominence continued to soar as they graced the stage as featured artists at the esteemed 2023 BBPA Harry Jerome Awards. Undeterred by geographical boundaries, Intercession remains steadfast in their mission to spread their message of faith and hope across the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, and the United States.
