Danny Drums is a Toronto-based live percussionist specializing in Egyptian darbuka, djembe, and Middle Eastern percussion. Known for his high-energy playing and dynamic stage presence, Danny blends traditional rhythms with house, electronic, hip-hop, pop, and global sounds to create an experience that is both musical and visually engaging.

Danny performs as a solo live percussionist over music, alongside DJs and other musicians, or as a roaming performer who brings the energy directly into the crowd. His signature illuminated drum, which can be fitted with a custom internal light to make the darbuka or djembe glow, adds a unique visual element that is especially impactful for evening events, nightlife, weddings, and luxury productions.

His performance experience spans weddings, corporate events, festivals, nightlife, cultural events, and major productions, including performances at TIFF and collaborations with DJs, artists, and musicians. Danny has also traveled internationally to deepen his craft, studying Egyptian tabla and percussion in Cairo with renowned Egyptian percussionist Said El Artist.
