DJ George Stetka
DJ Groove is a Montreal-based disc jockey with a career spanning four decades, starting in 1983. A pillar of the city’s nightlife, he is credited with influencing the DJ styles of many other top DJs in Montreal and for changing the way clubs program their music. 

Career highlights:

Genre pioneer: In the 1980s, DJ Groove moved underground Hip Hop, R&B, and Reggae into mainstream clubs at a time when these genres were rarely played in commercial venues. He was also the first DJ to host a weekly Hip Hop show on mainstream Montreal radio.
Official tour DJ: He has toured as the official Canadian DJ for artist Sean Paul on multiple occasions since the 2000s.

Residencies and appearances: His career includes multiple club residencies and performances at major venues and festivals across North America, including: Rebel Nightclub and Cabana Pool Bar in Toronto
OSHEAGA Music Festival in Montreal, Nightclubs in Las Vegas and New York City.

Accomplished musician: Placed 2nd place in the1995/1996 Montreal elimination round of the DMC Canadian Mixing Competition.

Recognized talent: DJ Groove has received multiple nominations for Canadian Stylus DJ Awards.
