In her late teens, Molly taught herself to play the guitar, leading to performances in Nova Scotia. Her musical pursuits continued in Alberta, where she secured a full-time gig after performing at a music festival in Cochrane and participated in various charity events. Despite these successes, Molly grappled with the prospect of turning her passion into a profession and temporarily stepped away from a burgeoning music career.
Molly’s adventurous spirit led her to New Zealand, where she explored a career in real estate. However, her innate connection to music remained steadfast. Upon returning to Nova Scotia in 2020, she experienced a period of introspection, culminating in the authorship of her book, “The Break Down – How to Change the Framework.” Concurrently, she began sharing musical performances on her YouTube channel, reigniting her commitment to her artistic pursuits.
In October 2023, Molly’s journey took an unexpected turn when an attempt to travel to Nashville was thwarted at the New Brunswick/Maine border. Undeterred, she found herself in Windsor, Ontario, where serendipitous events rapidly unfolded. Within days, she secured a photo shoot and a performance at the Peacock Lounge, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her musical career. Embracing Windsor as her new home, Molly has since become an integral part of the local music scene, performing at various venues and events.
Molly’s music is characterized by its alternative country style, reflecting her East Coast roots and diverse life experiences. Her performances are known for their authenticity and emotional resonance, captivating audiences and fostering deep connections.
