Dipo is a Nigerian/Canadian singer-songwriter who embarked on his professional music journey in 2009 with the release of a self-titled EP, which was later amalgamated with other singles to form his “Lagos to Toronto” album compilation.
His most acclaimed song, “Be Your Man,” a soulful Afro-jazzy tune, catapulted him to a unique position in the music scene. He has graced prestigious stages alongside Nigeria’s finest artists such as 2face Idibia, D’banj, and Wande Coal, and had the honor of opening for Nigeria’s biggest alternative singer, “Asa,” at her “Asa on the Green” concert.
In Canada, Dipo has performed at renowned venues including The Mod Club, The Supermarket, and Revival Bar, solidifying his presence in the Toronto music scene.
From his breakthrough track “Be Your Man” released in 2010 to his recently launched “New Vintage” EP, Dipo has continually honed his craft, demonstrating growth and evolution with each release.
